Developed a curriculum for approximately 600 students per week, with five 50-minute classes per day. Each lesson utilizes formative assessments to ensure students are getting the accommodations they need to succeed and develop a lifelong passion for art.Highlights: - Achieved 100% curriculum goals by guiding the learning process and establishing clear objectives for all art lessons in drawing, painting, paper maché, clay, fiber arts and printmaking.- Created effective classroom management strategies and routines that were quickly adopted and fostered a secure environment.- Uplifted student population and reframed a positive view of art as a part of their education by engaging students in an enthusiastic learning environment that targeted interests and the learning styles of my students. - Offered free studio time at the end of the day to allow students to continue working on pieces or enjoy extra time in the art room.

During this role I developed lesson plans for K-5 students, held weekly SEL groups for students with lagging social skills, and worked collaboratively with teachers to help accommodate the needs of their students. While working for a PBiS school I learned how to maintain a positive and safe environment for all students. In my three months there, I worked hard to build relationships and a sense of community in my classroom. I miss the faculty and students immensely.

I love everything about chocolate -- from teaching people about it to sculpting with it. As part of this role I taught chocolate classes for South End Kitchen at Lake Champlain Chocolates and created sculptures that pushed my boundaries in chocolate art.

I was the retail manager of our million dollar, factory store. At the same time, I took pride in creating chocolate sculptures and frames for display in the store. I also had the opportunity to design multiple chocolates for sale, including our "Marzipan Hearts" and "Old World Truffle".
