Leading on quality learning facilitation for future and current healthcare colleagues. Ensuring provision of supportive, quality assured, learning environments for pre and post registration nursing and allied health professional learners. I planned and delivered training for everyone supporting and assessing learners and provided 1:1 tailored support where learners were struggling. I led on the expansion of placement experiences and advocated innovative approaches including technology enabled learning. I regularly participated in partnership working with universities, neighbouring health service providers, Health Education England, and colleagues working on clinical placement delivery across the Integrated Care System.

Integral part of the Community Matron service, providing in-reach to acute hospital. Key link between hospital and community service providers, focussed on improving discharge pathways and processes. Comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, liaison and follow up to ensure safe discharge. Successes included implementation of a ‘Virtual Ward’ service, and development of a 'hospital-community forum' enabling health and social care colleagues to work together to improve patient pathways across the locality.

Qualitatively researching the lived experience of older people affected by multiple long-term conditions, using photo-elicitation. My previous research has looked at the daily life of adults with learning disabilities (for award of PgDip OT), and the understanding of Occupational Therapy by other healthcare professionals (for award of MSc Advanced Healthcare Practitioner).
