Working with U.K. and French customers, including The White Company, New Look, Agent Provocateur and Chantelle, creating innovative, trend driven designs in meetings or from a brief. I Produce detailed drawings of design ranges for customer's visualization with CAD, I am trained in both Kaledo style and illustrator.I am also able to create, re-work, re colour and clean up prints using Kaledo print or illustrator.Working with the far east I arrange garment samples, sending technical sketches produced with CAD for the factory to work from, these have to be very clear and easy to understand with visual and technical information to avoid any mistakes in the sampling process. I work closely with in house pattern cutters to achieve the desired silhouette. I also source new fabrics, laces and trims as well as requesting and negotiating prices. My role also involves constantly keeping on top of trends with research, competitor shopping, producing mood boards and inspiration samples and keeping the showroom up to date for customer inspiration.
