I am a final year student at Nottingham Trent Univeristy studying Furniture and Product Design BA. As I have finished and will be graduating in July I am now looking for a furniture/design job role in London. I am an imaginative detail-oriented designer with excellent analytical, research and collaboration skills. Experience working with timber, polymer and alloy materials. Adept at successfully managing and coordinating group projects from concept through completion. I am hardworking and willing to take creative risks and push conceptual boundaries. I am proficient in using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. I also have a great interest in developig CAD models and rendering product ideas digitally.As a designer I am interested in creating functional but also aesthetically pleasing designs. I find my self often designing multifuntional and space saving products. This is influenced by the fact that I have grown up in London which is a highly populated city where space is often at a premium. I have years of previous retail and hospitality experience which allowed me to develop my customer service skills and perfect the art of coffee making. I was also able to learn management and leadership skills as I had to train new members of staff. I was often in charge of event organising and hosting which helped me develop great time management skills meaning I can work well under pressure.
