I was responsible for the administration of customer’s window faults, from their initial call, to arranging the engineer to attend, to writing up reports to house builders and KSM of the findings of the engineers visit. On commencement of my post this entailed logging of customer’s faults via the telephone, fax, and E-Mail. I also speak to customers via the telephone and E-Mail system, and following these through. I also ensure on a weekly basis that the engineers have allocated all the parts required for the following week’s visits, and that all previous weeks calls have been chased, and if possible completed.

I was responsible for the administrative Utilities orders. On commencement of my post this entailed order processing of telephone, fax, and E-Mailed orders, speaking to customers via the telephone and E-Mail system in either reference to their orders, or any queries/complaints that they have, and following these through. Following through complaints for purchasing purposes for the accounts department, chasing through our warehouse/stores department of stock situation, and purchasing of specialised stock levels, working closely with the account managers, analysing of data for monthly reports for marketing purposes of large accounts, chasing through all monthly outstanding orders, and checking through why orders are outstanding with relevant sale staff. I also handle the day to day running of all Utilities accounts in the UK, as well as supplying information and record holding on all authorities within the UK. I handle all Utilities and authorities project tenders from PQQ through to supply.

I was responsible for the input of all sales and purchase orders, stock control, and stock intake, printing and reporting of monthly run stock and order reports, chasing suppliers for payments of invoices, checking and querying suppliers invoices ready to be pasted for payment, telephone queries and complaints internal and external.
