Senior New Business Manager promoted to Interim Head of New Business to cover maternity leave (Sept 15 – Aug 16) taking responsibility for a team of 7 and a budget of £3.7million. Managed direct line reports to deliver income whilst developing a personal portfolio of prospects with a minimum value of £750k. Supported strategy development whilst leading on corporate income development for high profile events such as Soccer Aid.

Responsible for a £900k corporate fundraising budget. Part of the senior management team with 3 direct reports covering new business and account management. I wrote and implemented a new corporate fundraising strategy to increase new business development, provide bespoke stewardship to key corporate accounts and deliver less resource intensive support to lower level donors.

The Marie Curie Big Build Appeal aims to raise £7million to build a new hospice for the West Midlands in Solihull. The new hospice will provide modern specialist care for people with cancer and other life limiting illnesses along with support for families.

Directly reporting to the CEO, responsible for the management of the commercial team at Stoneleigh Park, a £4.2 million turnover business which supports the charitable work of the Royal Agricultural Society.Produced and implemented new business development strategies, developed new revenue streams and maximised existing ones, recruited and developed a brand new pro-active sales team,database management and implementation of new systems.
