Develop strategic, targeted action plans to enhance sales to hit projected forecasts, markdowns, and receipts.-Understanding of merchandising processes, including assortment development, execution of merchandising strategy, and implementation of merchandising plans. -Analyze sales trends, key items, vendor profitability, aged inventory and recommend actions to drive improved performance- Develop seasonal plans that support the sales and profitability objectives of the department. - Plan promotional item strategies and implement them through the entire marketing process. - Oversee development of department brand packaging to standardized visual presentation, and provide a cohesive in-store message to the consumer.
