As a secondee from member company SUEZ, I was involved in launching, evaluating and supporting the funding of projects which sought to create 'Plastic Waste Free Cities' through the Alliance RfP process. I supported the development, evaluation and funding of projects in Indonesia, South Africa, Argentina, India, Ivory Coast and Kenya. The Alliance to End Plastic Waste brings together a diverse group of companies from across the plastics value chain seeking to help end plastic waste. The Alliance activities focus on enhancing waste management capacity and capability by improving collection, sorting, processing and recycling systems, especially in developing nations.

In this role, I was responsible for the coordination and production of tenders with Subject Matter Experts across the business. I would support the bid lead in the development of bid strategies and win themes to produce successful and compliant submissions of tender documentation to agreed timescales, quality and cost requirements.

Provide project management and operational support during the mobilisation of new contracts, including the production of the project plan, method statements and other contract documents as required. In this role, I was part of the team who successfully rolled out a new TFPM contract with the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, after being the bid manager during the procurement stages.
