I conducted research on decolonial education and anti-casteism to draft 20-page proposal of trainings and policy reforms. I also designed a 12-hour curriculum of social justice simulations and restorative practices to promote intercultural communication and anti-racism in recruitment, academic dialogue, and residential advising among 90 students and professionals.

I recruit participants for study of pregnancy stress levels, brain development, parent-child interaction and am currently leading a systematic literature review on parental empathy in the past 20 years.

I work mostly individually with a student for 4 hours each week, and have learned about the implementation of communication devices and of Applied Behavior Analysis in the classroom.

I led monthly narrative trainings with 20+ organizations in Tennessee, resulting in the formation of the first statewide reproductive justice coalition and a statewide collaborative organizing project with accountability checkpoints for 2023. As a capstone project, I created a 30+ page document of policy drafts, strategy charts, and a narrative timeline to track the success of education/campaigning around advocacy for system-involved families resulting in a 2023 Day on the Hill strategy presentation.

I log data using SPSS Statistics as well as analyze data through coding and transcription. I am currently helping design stimuli for an upcoming study and running participants between the ages of 3 and 6 for three of the lab's current studies.

I work as a Resident Adviser for 48 Vanderbilt students, heading community-enriching activities and counseling students in crisis based on approximately 50 hours of training on suicide prevention, bystander intervention, and conflict resolution. I also suggested a system to streamline crisis intervention/response to phone calls from the approximately 2,000 students resident advisors in my area oversee.

I worked as an assistant and substitute teacher, leading inclusive classroom activities for both typically-developing students and students with special needs. During my time at Sproutlings as a volunteer prior to employment, I guided students with special/medical needs through physical and occupational therapy and coordinated an intergenerational craft with residents at a nearby senior living facility.
