I was a big deal in elementary school. The New Hampshire State Invention Convention may not sound like the event of the season, but trust me, it was the big leagues. I remember walking through the cafeteria, staring up at the trifold boards and papermache models. My classmates quickly glazed over, but I was hooked. For four years, I poured all of my creativity, curiosity, and passion into my inventions. I still remember the exhilarating anxiety as they would announce the winners. Third place, second, first runner up and…best in grade. Each year I would pin my winning ribbon above my desk and immediately start in on my next project. Twenty years later, not much has changed. I’m still driven by that same sense of wonder. I’m still curious and fueled by an unshakable love of creative problem solving. And I still understand that how you communicate an idea is just as important as the idea itself. I’m lucky. I love what I do. Everyday, I’m presented with opportunities to leverage my strategic grasp of communications to drive engagement, foster community connections and craft compelling narratives that move the needle on vital issues. I believe in the power of storytelling to inspire and drive change. I trust in my approach which combines agile strategy, resonate narratives and dynamic collaboration to yield powerful campaigns.
