Experienced Educational Leader with over two decades across several Primary Education settings in leadership roles including Assistant and Deputy Head, and as Early Years Educational consultant. In her current role of Deputy Headteacher Emma has a wide range of responsibilities including mentoring middle leaders with their next developmental steps, guiding the whole school team on the most impactful mental health support for both children and adults, supporting the school SENCOs with SEN knowledge and working through next steps for children and curriculum sequencing and development. Emma has also undertaken a number of voluntary roles as a member of the trust of a free school as part of a team who set up the school, and currently as a Governor at Reading School and a member of the Reading Foundation. Emma enjoys giving back to the community and finds these voluntary roles insightful and very rewarding.
