During my placement, I performed soil sampling, general laboratory duties and conducted various chemical and physical soil tests as part of my research project. My project focused on comparing soil erodibility in relation to agricultural land use type in order to maximise the positive impact of riparian restoration efforts.

In my previous role, I utilised effective verbal communication and time management skills to teach infants, children and teenagers how to swim. I also liaised with fellow instructors, supervisors and parents to monitor student progress, identify areas of improvement and assist with meeting staged learning objectives.
