I worked at Springfield Leather Company for ten years. During that time I transitioned from Customer Service Associate to Customer Service Manager to the Human Resources Coordinator. In that same amount of time, Springfield Leather Company grew from thirty employees to eighty employees and I acted as a strategic partner in the growth and development of Springfield Leather Company and its employees. Upon relocation to Houston, Texas; I joined The Buckingham Senior Living Community as the Human Resources Coordinator where my primary focus was employee engagement and HR Support. I am now the HR Recruiter and Staff Training Coordinator for The Brookwood Community in Brookshire, TX. Above all else, Human Resources is about helping people be successful and fulfilled at their place of employment. It requires excellent time management and organization, a high level of confidentiality, staying cool under pressure, creative problem solving, and most of all-empathy, the ability to listen, and help others resolve problems in the workplace.
