Throughout my academic history, I’ve worked on many projects, including:• An online poll on the effects of daily Instagram usage on the quality of life of Americans, specifically New Yorkers, a literature review on the existing available research, and an analysis of the findings and conclusion. (1350 words)• A comprehensive analysis of commercials involved in pop culture to evaluate their effectiveness and impact. (800 words)• Drafting of two audience profiles utilizing Google Trends. • Composing two feature articles (600 words each), a television interview script, and a public relations interview script.• Conducting interviews at events to inform reporting. • 5 academic critiques on films and written works (400 – 1500 words).• Wrote and presented 3 speeches: An inspirational speech, informative speech, and persuasive speech.• A proposal for a product release campaign (850 words), including a blogpost (350 words).• Worked on-site at memorials and museums around New York City and created a series of 15 fine artworks using oil pastel, acrylic paint, and graphite pencil.In addition to my studies, I have experience in a wide variety of employment fields, including Retail Sales, Customer Relations, Bridal, and most recently Press Communications and Publicity at Downtown Community Televison Center (DCTV). I am also a devoted painter, poet, fiction writer, and essayist. I read my work at readings at NYC venues, including but not limited to: Til Death (Bushwick), Topos Too (Ridgewood), Pace University (Financial District), and the New York Poetry Festival (Governer's Island).My next step is to obtain a second internship which would allow me to expand my knowledge of writing for media, drive brand awareness and following, uplift creative voices, and contribute to cultural and artistic appreciation.
