After graduating from Heriot Watt University in 2013 with an MA (Hons) Degree in Accountancy and Business Law, I began working as a Finance Assistant in a distribution firm, to build on the skills I had gained from working in a small accounting practice for over two years whilst studying. I joined Springfords in March 2014 and now prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and small companies and prepare VAT Returns for a wide variety of clients. As well as this I am accredited in Xero, an online processing package which allows me to train clients in using the software. I am currently studying towards becoming ACCA qualified and would hope to complete training within two years.
