As a student at Willamette University in sociology, ethnic studies, and history, I am passionate about community advocacy and the pursuit of equity. After years of experience as a tutor and peer academic mentor, I've decided to pursue a career in teaching post-graduation. As a young, aspiring teacher, I take my role as an educator very seriously and aim to build relationships with students to support their growth as full people and recognize the inherent value of young people. As a whole, I am committed to learning and using my warm, kind personality to connect with others and make them feel valued, seen, and appreciated.
