I joined AAB as a summer intern in their private client department, my role consisted of learning and undertaking a variety of tasks all to help me complete client tax returns in a timely manner and keeping clients up to date with the process. Being an intern for a couples months taught me to learn softwares such as CCH quickly amongst others in order to start completing work.

Summer job working full-time rotating shifts in a factory environment, constructing and packaging PPE, mainly for the NHS. This was a fast-paced environment as PPE was in an increase demand due to Covid-19. Often comprised of changing departments and working on all different types of machines, improving my skills in many different areas such as my attention to detail, critical thinking and hardworking attitude.

Worked in multiple departments, often running them alone. Worked on tills, packaging purchases and orders and cashing up these tills at the end of the day. If the shop floor was quieter i’d help in the stock room, working with technological devices, creating product prices including discounts and also following instructions to build items such as light fixtures or furniture.

Volunteered teaching the younger classes hip-hop dance alongside the teacher. Encouraged everyone to have fun and try their best to prepare for an annual dance show, also helping run that.
