I also worked for an endowment fund dedicated to housing problems in France.

My exchange at the FGV provided me with the opportunity to launch an innovative project. Working within a team of international students, I designed and prototyped a self-filling water bottle. The technology was inspired by a frugal infrastructure that harvests the humidity of the air: a fog net that can be found in Peru or Ethiopia for instance. Our goal was to meet the needs of backpackers in arid areas. Yet, we intended to develop the technology, so it could solve a more global issue, as we initially wanted. Indeed, access to drinkable water remains a consistent problem in Brazil, making all of us well aware of the risks of poor quality water and water scarcity.

As a member of the NOISE, I had the opportunity to work alongside a social entrepreneur for a full year time. Kialatok provides companies with educational programs on CSR, handicap, and multicultural management. Kialatok tackles these issues through cooking workshops. My mission was to conduct a market analysis of the sector, so the start-up could develop a long-term strategy. I was also asked to establish a sustainable supply chain to strengthen the reputation and branding of the firm.
