About Emma Risley

I have had several years of experience working in an office type setting as a manager. This has helped me develop numerous skills sets with customer service including an excellent attitude and an engaging personality. I have advanced computer skills in various data base programs and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.I have 7 years of experience in the hospitality industry in every position from server/bartender to front desk staff and management to Banquets Event set up and sales. I also have more than ten years of working on various equine breeding and training facilities and two internships at a thoroughbred breeding and sales prep facility working with horses ranging from new born to 30 years of age. My duties included grooming, feeding, exercising, and cleaning stalls for the equines on the farm.My skill sets include knowledge of running large farm equipment, usage of landscaping tools, loading and unloading animals from trailers, hauling trailers, basic veterinarian skills such as giving shots IV and IM and administering oral medications, working with a blacksmith, equine riding skills, office skills, computer skills, foaling, and sales prepping. I am passionate about horses but I also love the Hospitality Industry. My goal is to one day be a General Manager at a beautiful resort that will allow me to indulge my passion in horses.
