► Working on the SMART ticketing project for Scotrail, I have assumed more responsibility as a PM within the team. I have direct responsibility for delivering specific work streams, and ensuring they are followed through - from initiation to completion. I am involved in facilitating efficient communication between the project team, stakeholders and suppliers and coordinating updates on the progress of key stages of the project. ► I am involved in developing and executing schedules for testing, and I'm responsible for ensuring that testing is executed effectively and thoroughly. When issues are identified during this time, I am responsible for communicating them back to the project team and the supplier developer team.► Furthermore, I am involved with the tracking of identified issues to minimise the impact of these propagating to the live environment. I supported the senior PM to implement relevant risk management strategies as required, to ensure the delivery of key milestones on time. In addition, I contribute to the management of project critical processes, including the coordination of internal and supplier resources.► To ensure my professional development, I am seeking guidance and advice from the project managers on the team. Furthermore, I am working towards my APM certification, and hope to achieve this within the year.

PROJECT COORDINATOR (Feb-2017 - Present)► I am involved in a new project within ScotRail involving the deployment of SMART ticketing and issuing system. My role currently involves liaising with the test team and project managers to ensure an efficient plan is laid out to include sufficient testing at every depot in Scotland. PROJECT COORDINATOR (Sept-2016 - Feb-2017)► My role initially was to provide support for ScotRail on-train employees in regards to a new mobile ticket printing system. The role was to provide software and hardware technical support for both staff and vendors across their 25 sites throughout Scotland.► It was our responsibility to learn the system and fully understand it to an ability where we could then give extra help to the staff. After a short period, a plethora of technical issues had arisen and my remit was expanded to incorporate incident management and time-critical troubleshooting in a pressured, public facing environment.► This progressed into ensuring any faults occurring were being escalated to the appropriate people and that a solution or work around was being met quickly. This involved speaking to a wide range of people throughout different companies. ► My role has since changed again to involve coordinating the support efforts across all 25 stations to ensure the delivery of products and continual liaising with key stakeholders in both ScotRail and the supplier companies.
