Associate Community Planner
CurrentPlanning + Document Development: Lead and support comprehensive public sector planning processes, from initial visioning and community engagement to goal setting, strategy development, and implementation. Support the creation of essential planning documents, including comprehensive plans, special area plans, and design guidelines.Design & Visual Communication: Lead and support design projects, including annual reports, marketing materials, guidebooks, and brand identities. Translate and visualize complex information into engaging graphics and presentations.Land Use & Zoning: Support code modernization efforts by drafting text amendments and developing clear, concise support graphics. Provide technical assistance to municipalities on zoning regulations, development review processes, and staff report preparation.Community Engagement & Outreach: Support community engagement initiatives through workshops, surveys, and online platforms to gather input and build consensus. Develop compelling marketing materials, project branding, webpages, and other tools to inform and involve the public.Promotional: Prepare and manage promotional materials, such as team resumes and marketing sheets. Coordinate and develop proposals in response to RFPs and RFQs. Manage and maintain the company website, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and engaging. Create and curate high-quality content for social media.
