Gained valuble experience in HR generalist experience through performing effective formal/informal coaching and mentorship, using performance management when required, fully overseeing all recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for the store, managing absence through appropriate attendance or health & wellbeing policies and liaising with occupational health, and conducting thorough investigations on complaints. Additionally took on responsibility for resource planning for the entire store and have led difficult changes to hours.

There I worked as a service host; organising the shift ensuring we had enough checkouts on to serve customers at any time and dealing with any issues that cropped up such as tech issues with self scans etc, and on the customer service desk which involved dealing with minor customer complaints.
