Emma Webb is an experienced designer and entrepreneur who started her first business whilst still at school. Wrote and presented a series of lectures for 3rd Year Interior Architecture students at Griffith College on "Designing Healthy Spaces" using Biophilic design principles and Neuro/Nudge design tools. 70% of our health and longevity is determined by our health behaviours and physical environment and as Designers, we can be be part of the drive to support a positive lifestyle. We spend 90 percent of our lives indoors, cut off from the natural systems we evolved from so it is no surprise that the primitive parts of our brain crave a reconnection with nature. Biophilic interior design aims at creating a connection with nature in man-made environments, and has proven benefits, including reducing anxiety and promoting productivity. Nudge design considers how the body and brain respond to the built environment and encourages better lifestyle habits (exercise, food choices) by reducing the effort to make the right choice.

Presented lecture on "Designing Healthy Spaces" designed specifically to introduce students of Interior Design and Interior Architecture of the Interior Academy of Ireland to Wellness design and the importance of considering Biophilic Design principles when approaching any project.

Emma Webb founded Stackajack Products in 2012 to redesign and bring to market essential baby furniture that looked better, lasted longer and took up less space. The Clevercrib, a newborn's crib that turned into a table and chairs, was brought to market nationwide and won a number of awards and recognition for innovation - Most Innovative Product of the Year 2013 (Maternity and Infant Awards), Silver Winner Best Cot/Crib 2014 (National Parenting Product Awards), Finalist Best Cot 2014 (Maternity and Infant Awards). Media coverage in Ireland and UK includes appearing on Dragon’s Den in 2014.In terms of business development and investment Stackajack raised funds privately and through Enterprise Ireland Competitive Start Fund 2014 and won the Seedcorn Highly Commended award for investor readiness (2013 and 2014).

Webb Residential Lettings and Management Ltd provided niche property management and letting services for over a decade. Innovative add-ons included generating additional revenues for clients by providing properties as film locations ( eg The Clinic, Drama series for RTE, "The Rules of Attraction ", Hollywood movie) in addition to providing turn-key apartment fit out services and staging properties for sale.

Emma set up her first design business, whilst still at school, painting Christmas themes on shop windows in her local area. The business expanded into new localities and she developed new themes eg Valentine’s day, Easter, Sporting events. As a result Emma successfully won the Guinness contract to paint sponsored pub windows in Dublin for festive and sporting events and employed a number of art students to work for her. Emma developed the business further by providing permanent murals for private and commercial clients, one of the most notable being Actor Paul Newman, for Barretstown Castle, Hole in the Wall camp.
