A graduate from The University of Texas at Arlington(UTA) as of May 2023 who studied vast subjects such as International Studies (Korean), Linguistics (TESOL), Translation/Localization, and psychology. I earned my TESOL certification through my minor in Linguistics (TESOL). I also have a keen interest in freelance translation and subtitling.I have classroom and teaching assistant experience, including an internship with my university's ESL program and my local public library's adult ESL program. I am also well equipped with communication and customer service skills due to 5+ years of experience as a worker in the consumer industry. I am detail-orientated, adaptable to both independent and team based work, and confident in my language and writing capabilities. In addition to teaching the English language, I am passionate about the accessibility of creative content within the translation/localization industry such as: gaming, webcomics, subtitling, videos, television series, movies, etc. With my global career path, I strive to learn more from others and expand my knowledge of language, culture, and international networks.
