Dr Emma White is a hydrogeologist and groundwater modeller, experienced with MODFLOW, Python, FloPy and PEST calibration and uncertainty methods. She also is proficient in project management and technical report writing. She has experience in both physical and contaminant hydrogeology including groundwater model construction/calibration, groundwater management, water resource assessments, analysis of pump test data, groundwater licensing procedure and regulatory structure. Field experience includes groundwater monitoring, large scale water source drilling programs and small scale contaminant drilling programs.Areas of particular interest for her include groundwater modelling, sustainable groundwater management and uncertainty analysis. She has a strong understanding of both Australian and Canadian federal and provincial groundwater legislation and groundwater regulatory structure is a great personal interest for her. Emma White holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering from Melbourne University, where she investigated the effectiveness of groundwater management plans using groundwater modelling scenarios and developed strong technical capabilities and proficiency with the Python programming language, MODFLOW groundwater modelling software and the PEST suite of calibration and uncertainty analysis software.
