• Create and manage numerous ongoing school and community partner relationships throughout the downtown area and surrounding suburbs. This includes the Lighthouse Youth Center that provides services to homeless youth, and the Hamilton County Youth Center to provide a book club for incarcerated youth. • Market materials to teachers and students for supplemental learning.• Provide training on internal systems of databases to staff, teachers, students, and library patrons. • Create one-off engagement programs for teens and children (ex. “Tea Time”), and organize educational guest speakers several times per month. These programs have increased attendance and engagement to our department.• Recruited and managed a team to develop the first ever Women’s Health Fair to provide information, and encourage health and wellness for local women who otherwise would not have access to these resources. For two years, the health fair had over 30 vendors, attendance of 150+, and media coverage from the local news.• Created organizational systems for all materials that did not previously exist, allowing for faster customer service, and more effective filing and tracking. This eliminated 3 steps in the process, increasing speed and efficiency for team’s daily output.• Trained team of 10 on new processes developed to ensure consistency across all members, causing my selection for the Tomorrow’s Manager Program.
