Orientation And First Year Programs

As a food and beverage intern, I learned how the all of the food and beverage is done within the Inn at Bay Harbor. The outlets consisted of: Vintage Chop House and Wine Bar, Sagamore Room, Cabana Bar, In Room Dining, and the Café. My roles ranged from being an expediter in the kitchen, hostess in the dining room, being a bar back, and even serving guests. This internship gave me much needed experience within food and beverage, and I am excited for what is to come.

Being the Personnel Intern with the Kane County Cougars was an exciting learning experience. Within this position I assisted with hiring interviews, all HR paperwork, and Kronos entry. One thing I learned to love was scheduling over 300 team members. Once all members were checked in for game day, I would jump in and assist in the concession stands or anywhere within Food and Beverage operations.

Sycamore, Il

As a sales and service associate at Menards, I worked in hardware sales. On the sales floor, I helped customers find products as needed, as well as stock shelves. When necessary, I setup promotions prior to them beginning and try to help find the most efficient way of doing so.

Bourbonnais, Il

As a sales associate, I worked closely in customer service. I would stock shelves when needed, help customers find or order books as needed, and would also manage the register.
