Responsible for handling all interactions and questions with participants. As a lead, there are more responsibilities in the data I am working with daily for IU Recreational Sports.

Upholding the Recreational Sports mission of connecting, informing, and inspiring people to lead active, healthy lifestyles. Assisting and educating participants on how to use facility spaces/equipment appropriately; educating participants on policies; providing feedback to participants and RS professional staff as needed; responding to accidents and incidents within RS guidelines; and providing essential maintenance and upkeep of the strength and cardio facilities and equipment.

Special Events is responsible for planning and executing large fundraising and culture events outside of marathon! This includes our biggest event, a gala which takes place in the fall. Throughout the year we are working to get ready for these events, as well as the live and silent auctions which take place at the gala!

Corporate Relations plays a vital role in the outreach and procurement of corporate sponsors for all major IUDM events. Our committee is in charge of stewarding these sponsors by developing new benefits and appreciation packages as well as educating IUDM participants on how to obtain a corporate sponsor. In the spring semester the Corporate Relations committee also holds a case competition open to all IUDM participants.

Responsible for attending weekly meetings, fundraising, and connecting/networking within the IUDM organization.
