I am a junior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, and I am working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and a concentration in International Business. I am strongly motivated by the future and what it can hold. I use this to stay motivated and achieve all the goals that I have set for myself. I enjoy communicating with people and working together to resolve conflicts and build stronger connections with one another. Over the summer I worked as a server and gained lots of experience getting to communicate with customers and my coworkers. In my past positions in leadership and management, I worked to achieve top performance by motivating my peers and coworkers to perform their best. I would show up prepared and ready to perform with a strong discipline for my work and the role I played whether that be serving or cooking food or motivating and working hard in sports. My career goals are to start working in the management industry and continue to develop my leadership and team-building skills. I am very passionate about helping others and working with people to help them in any way I can. I hope to connect with those in my field and continue to learn new skills as I go so I can work my way up into a management position. I enjoy helping to create a positive and motivated working environment by identifying a person's strengths and using them to their advantage. It sounds rewarding to help increase performance and help keep people motivated while working.
