Responsible for the development and production of an effective, ‘best fit’ Test Strategy and approach, based on risk for all test phases of a project, and subsequent end to end test management delivery.Key tasks involve:- Delivery of the High Level Project Test Strategy and Master Test Plan / Small Project Test Approach documents - Identify and implement opportunities to reuse test approaches and test planning assets, minimising rework costs to the project- Provide assistance, guidance and testing expertise across the end to end test lifecycle on test issues and industry best practice- Participate and provide Test Services sign off for project Requirements Gateways, conducting peer/technical reviews of test requirements and test scripts with key stakeholders - Organise and attend Project Test Risk Matrix workshops, with responsibility for the production and maintainance of the Project Testing Risk Matrix- Escalate Test risks and issues as appropriate through to the Project Team - Responsible for the Test estimating activity and validation of forecast testing effort for all phases of the testing lifecycle- Manage test resource across all test phases, ensuring the appropriate allocation of suitably skilled resource- Manage and monitor actual costs of all testing phases against estimates- Execute all required test phases and measure performance against expected results- Produce Test Reports and document and publish test metrics - Organise and attend Entry and Exit review meetings- Organise and facilitate testing lessons learned- Attend and contribute to the project lessons learned - Provide support, guidance and lead the shaping of the continued development of functional and non functional test services policies and procedures- Contribute to and lead the shaping of change initiatives and efficiency improvement activities- Coach and train staff
