Dr Emma Di Marco is a classical musician, music education expert, and founder of personal development brand and start up, Emma & Vincent. A passionate advocate for Australian music and supporting fellow women in a male-dominated music industry, Emma has established herself as an experienced and talented performer across the world stage. Emma is a D'Addario Woodwinds Endorsed Artist, a recipient of the prestigious Churchill Fellowship, and has a PhD in Musicology. Emma's work as a music educator has seen her become a leader in improving woodwind pedagogy, supporting and growing music education programs (especially through challenging times such as COVID-19), and integrating cutting edge research in educational neuroscience into everyday teaching practices. Inspired by her Italian-immigrant grandfather and realising the potential positive impacts of classical music on the world, Emma founded her company, Emma & Vincent, in late 2019. This is a female-led Australian small business focussed on delivering high-quality products for all ambitious and goal-oriented women developed with the wisdom Emma has gleaned from fifteen years in the classical music industry. Success as a musician requires you to develop strong project management skills, a high level of personal discipline, and the ability to set lofty goals and systematically work towards them. Emma has taken these attributes and has developed a range of products all geared towards developing these personal skills in every customer, no matter their industry or professional background. Emma & Vincent is currently developing their high-end Signature range and branching into the media realm with a number of podcast offerings (check out SAX BITES wherever you prefer to listen to podcasts).
