-Researched and wrote a policy white paper on how five states are sustaining HealthySteps, an evidence-based, dyadic, integrated behavioral health prevention model in pediatric primary care.-Advance advocacy efforts, in close collaboration with stakeholders, to make the case for payment reform that supports HealthySteps and other family-centered care models at CHOP and in Pennsylvania.-As policy strategist for the Family and Community Health research portfolio, identify and leverage policy windows by facilitating collaboration among researchers and supporting engagement with policymakers and the policymaking process.-As part of a joint project with CHOP's Fostering Health Program, identify and write a brief on policy reforms that would help children in foster care overcome barriers to vision care.-Provide policy research, analysis, and consultation to researchers on topics related to child and family health and Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).-Organize internal opportunities for PolicyLab staff to grow their policy knowledge such as policy Lunch & Learns and Hot Topic sessions.

-Researched and wrote a report for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) on dual eligible special needs plans (D-SNPs), key changes in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)’ 2022 Medicare Advantage and Part D final rule, and strategic considerations for the Department as it plans to convert its dually eligible demonstration project with ~40,000 enrollees (MI Health Link) into a D-SNP model.-Prepared MDHHS’ transition plan for the MI Health Link program, for CMS.-Analyzed the findings from 10 interviews with stakeholders to inform the MI Health Link transition. Wrote interview summaries and a summary matrix for clients at MDHHS.-Managed the D-SNP strategy project by organizing and facilitating weekly client meetings, tracking activities and deliverables, and overseeing the work of two interns.-Played a major role in the development of a uniform health risk assessment for all health plans participating in MI Health Link. Assisted with incorporating feedback from health plans and ensuring the tool met requirements.-Analyzed the findings from 16 interviews with long-term care and behavioral health stakeholders in Michigan to inform MDHHS’ strategic planning in these areas. Wrote interview summaries and a summary matrix for clients at MDHHS including Michigan’s Medicaid Director.
