Since 1999, I've been leading a team of technical communicators at Streamliners – coaching staff and learning from them as we've increased our expertise in smart authoring of technical and procedural information.I started as a technical communicator in 1989, and have written plain English policies and procedures in industry sectors such as banking, health, manufacturing, retail sales, technology, and software. These days, I am a director of Streamliners and SchoolDocs. I also manage the Writing Systems team at Streamliners, working on the tools, systems, and standards that our technical writing team uses to produce HealthPathways and Stronger Schools.
