Streamliners has the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of people around the world. I'm developing learning predominantly for their writers and editors, who write information for health care providers at point-of care. So far I've created learning on writing for equity, and am working on redesigning the Writers' Training Programme.

I create hand and digital illustrations using pen, pencil and paint, Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator. I use InDesign for publications and layouts. Many illustrations include an educative component, including writing, diagrams, and infographics.I have made illustrations for both online and print publications, including websites, pdf downloads.

As an instructional designer with e-Blended Learning Solutions, I created large-scale and small-scale learning objects. Examples of large-scale learning were courses, constructed from multiple modules, activities, and assessments. Small, stand-alone learning objects included interactive materials, single modules or activities, such as induction materials.

During this time at National Geographic we completed a massive Web redesign. www.natgeoed.org. For this, I managed outside contractors, researched design and implementation, developed feature priorities, created wireframes, and a set of best practices documents.In addition, I wrote, edited and researched educational content for lessons and activities.

I created educational materials for teachers and kids around National Geographic's content. I also mentored new geography interns in Education and Children's Programs.

I worked in Education and Children's Programs helping to create materials for teachers and children that compliment National Geographic publications and products. This involved print production, editing, proofing, design and web content management.

I was project manager for Quality Content Teaching, a research project on a FIPSE grant headed by Professor Susan Hardwick and Marilyn Olson. I coordinated 60 teachers' collaboration on improving lessons in five key content areas. I helped to organize the summer in-person workshop. I managed the on-line discussion board and organized materials for the.

I worked on the National Education Monitoring Project processing data on students' strengths and weaknesses and statistically analyzing results.
