I am currently working for Oasis Católico Santa Rafaela, a Non-Profit organization located in Pinewoods trailer park, a primarily Latinx immigrant community. Oasis serves as an after school program for the pre-K through 5th grade children of this community, partnering with students at the University of Georgia who works as tutors to aid students in their educational, linguistic, and social development. As an administrative assistant I am in charge of organizational tasks, writing recommendation letters for tutors, set up and breakdown of the materials each day, responding to emails, and occasionally tutoring.

As a Patient Access intern at Atrium Health, my primary focus was a project to enhance the onboarding process to ensure smoother integration for new hires and reduce turnover. I collaborated with various departments across North Carolina healthcare facilities, shadowing employees, joining leadership meetings, and conducting research to identify key factors that contribute to successful employee onboarding and retention in Patient Access. I met with several department leaders to provide individualized breakdowns and assist in creating in-depth training checklists for future use. To conclude the internship, I delivered a final presentation to Atrium Patient Access leaders, where I elaborated on my findings and proposed strategies for improvements and implementation.

As Assistant Office Manager for Davidson Lake Camp I worked with the directors of the camp to ensure that everything ran smoothly. I aided the directors in managing counselors, creating weekly schedules, pick-up and drop-off for campers, running the snack bar, taking photos for the website, and answering phone calls from parents.
