I am a frontend designer/developer currently based in the Philippines. I design simple and usable solutions to problems arising from humans interacting with machines.Though I do employ the best aesthetics for my designs, I go beyond them and think in terms of design systems and modules rather than pages and layouts; armed with a specialization in a detailed understanding of design in a digital environment. I am highly experienced in a design process that starts from conception until live production.

  I am leading a team of talented cross-disciplined designers who focus on areas such as user interface design, user experience design and graphics design. I helped design a wide array of tools as well as creating a collaborative platform for designers to not only craft digital products, but also grow as designers that can articulate solutions as well as iterating on them. Aside from the leadership role, I focus mainly on web and mobile user interface design, participate in early concept development, design ideation and incorporate usability and field research findings into the product design. This also includes creating and defining a visual language, forming interaction design patterns across web, mobile and desktop.I do design and iteration in mockup as well as in markups and working prototypes (HTML, CSS3 and JS) which I find to be the most practical approach. Tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Balsamiq, Axure, Invision and Facebook’s Origami are not foreign to me as I use them as means to gain input and feedback on all aspects of the design process.
