About Emmanuel Poilpre
Nature has always been a source of wonder and discovery for me. And I've been able to experience its incredible potential by contributing my fermentation expertise to Food / Feed / Pharma projects for 20 years.Unfortunately, the world I knew as a child is disappearing and nature is being irrevocably transformed under the pressure of human activity. I can't just sit back and do nothing. I would like that my professional commitment will give me the opportunity to take action and help develop solutions to combat climate change and its consequences. But you can't get very far on your own, so for the last 10 years I've been developing skills in innovation project management alongside my technical experience. And I've been able to measure the power of collaborative work, which brings together scientists, marketers, sales people, lawyers, engineers, communicators... to transform a discovery into a solution. My training as Engineer and phD in biotechnology gives me a particular affinity for technical projects, where the scientific question is central, and I am convinced that we need science (and wisdom) to meet the climate challenge.Being the leader of a human adventure that transforms a scientific discovery into a solution that's good for the planet and for people is the contribution I'd like to make to the world I leave to my children.
