I was previously employed by Carnival UK, predominantly for P&O Cruises. My role was a personal cruise Advisor based within the customer contact centre. I would work towards a revenue and conversion target. The role included booking cruises, being able to give help, advice and support based on my knowledge and my own personal experiences, handling customer complaints and on occasion I would go onto the ship to help host a lunch for potential future passengers. During my time at Carnival UK I enjoyed a number of secondments working onboard as a loyalty sales manager. As well as booking future cruises the role included the planning of loyalty lunches, cocktail parties, hosting embarkation lounges and there is an element of public speaking to thank the passengers for their loyalty and introduce the captain at such events. I also assisted with the social media department, engaging in comments and replying to private messages sent to the social media channels.

My role at three was a sales associate, my main responsibility was to meet the monthly targets in several different KPI’s whist delivering excellent customer service. There were individual targets as well as team targets so therefore I was consistently pushing myself to work as hard and efficiently as I possibly could. As well as consistently being a high end performer I also excelled in delivering great customer service, often receiving praise and recognition for my work from both customers and managers.

My role at Carphone Warehouse was a senior sales assistant, My main responsibilities in this role were meeting targets and delivering excellent customer service, I encouraged and supported my colleagues to deliver and perform to the best of their abilities. I was frequently asked to look after specific areas of the company within the store and help to achieve higher results, Whenever I did this I would put in a lot of time and work and always managed to significantly increase our results.

My role at doubletake studio’s was a promotional assistant, I was based on a travelling booking stand. The stand was always placed in busy and popular shopping centres. Meaning my role was to approach the general public and use the very best of my sales abilities and successfully turn a member of the general public into a potential client for the company. I did very well within the company and always achieved high numbers. However the employment unfortunately ended in becoming redundant as the company went out of business.

My role at Hammonds was working as a concessions manager for their sister company Hammonds Space. My main responsibilities were securing bookings with potential customers for one of our designers to come and visit their house and help plan their dream bedroom, encouraging and motivating the other staff members, training the staff and also taking care of rota’s, time cards and monthly progress reviews of the staff.
