Hey y'all!My name is Emma Schmitt, a dedicated student with a strong interest in Full Stack Development. Currently, I'm pursuing my Bachelors of Science in Computer Science at the Rochester Institute of Technology. 💻I'm working as a Software Engineering Co-Op at Honeywell, where I'm gaining hands-on experience solving real-world challenges with incredible engineers. Previously, I worked as a Digital Innovations Co-Op at Barry-Wehmiller, where I sharpened my problem-solving skills and found my love for Full-Stack Development! 🔆I also serve as a part-time Education Mentor at the St. Louis Magic House, inspiring the next generation of STEM students in St. Louis. And while at RIT, I’m involved in RIT's Computer Science House (CSH) and Women in Computing (WIC). Through these roles, I’ve developed strong interpersonal skills that I am still improving and fine tuning everyday. ❤️I'm actively seeking a summer 2025 Co-Op opportunity to continue growing and improving my skills within Software Development.
