Designed and delivered a range of workshops on topics such as Diversity, Decoding Equality Terminology, Inspirational Presentations, Leadership for Young People, Understanding Youth Street Culture and Gangs.Our learners range from professionals from the public, private and voluntary sector, from young people, families, parents and mature retired learners.Responsible for all aspects of quality assurance, including extending our range of courses by gaining approval from national awarding bodies to run accredited courses, including the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), as well as maintaining accreditation from other bodies, such as the National Open College Network (OCN),Created new communication strategies, including integrating the use of on-line and social media, designing new marketing materials, as well as writing and distribution of regular newsletters to keep our supporters and partners informed and involved.An amazing organisation, working to raise the attainment of Black, African-Carribean and mixed race children throughout Kirklees and the adjacent areas.Our Vision: A world where diversity is embraced and celebrated, and where young people, families and communities are empowered to fulfil their potential.Our Mission: To work in partnership with young people, families and communities, and those working with them, to raise aspirations, expectations and achievement.How we do this - through delivering unique and ground-breaking training courses, in schools, for families, for professionals, including a range of accredited courses.
