I was born here in San Francisco, and grew up across the pond in the mystical land of Ireland. I returned to San Francisco to follow my dreams in the Bay Area. I would describe myself as being curious, and I’ve got an innate ability to accumulate nugatory knowledge - a skill passed down to me by my father. While he brought it out to impress my sister and I when we were kids watching quiz shows, I leverage it to connect with people. Finding common ground, both in my personal and professional life, has been the secret ingredient to establishing relationships with people from all walks of life. I’m a storyteller who lives for the arts. Beginning with an obsession with film and music in my early teens and culminating in an internship role at the fantastic Cork International Film Festival to round out my college years (where I graduated with an undergraduate degree specializing in Film & Digital Media) - art of all shapes and sizes has spoken to me on a visceral level for most of my life. This passion for storytelling led me to SFFILM upon making the move back to San Francisco, where I was lucky enough to intern at the institution that is SFFILM, for their 66th edition this past spring and subsequently fall into my current role as Grants & Partnerships Coordinator.Above all, I’m committed and dedicated. Wherever I decide to focus my energy, I see the project through to completion and give it my all. From achieving a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, to personally funding my undergraduate degree, I don’t shy away from big undertakings. I look forward to working with companies that are making a difference in the Bay Area, and being a member of a team where I can bring my positive energy and attitude to get work done.
