I began handling dogs in Agility at age 9, and at 12 became a competitive Junior Handler in Confirmation (Show Dogs). I was the #1 Junior Handler in Alaska in 2012, and also won enough points on my Bouvier to make him the #1 Show Dog in Alaska in 2012.In both 2013 and 2014 I won over 7 Best Junior Handlers which qualified me 2 years in a row for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog show held in NYC. Throughout my training career I kept the #1 rule in mind: the dogs needs to be happy, healthy and safe. When the dogs (often upwards of 15, many of them Mastiffs) needed attention after a 16 hour work day and I was tired, the job had to be carried through to completion.Their health was my personal responsibility.I am now a Professional Handler and am hired to show client's dogs. I still regularly attend dog shows during my RnR's.

Drillsites: Daily Tubing/ Inner/ Outer annulus pressure checks, brought wellsonline, shut wells in, back-flowed wells, used lift gas to kick them off, assisted with Statetests and repairs, and helped bring PM2 DS online after a shut-down.Plant: Iso/ de-iso’s with Operations, pump and valve actuator installs with Mechanics, Instrumentation testing and calibration with Instrument Techs, changed capacitor banks with Electricians, pulled Vibe probes with Turbine Vibe Techs, shadowed Turbine OHC during Hot Gas Path.Wrote Hilcorp an Operator Intern Training manual from scratch, had each a Lead from each discipline review my questions and answers about their group for relevancy and clarity. I asked each discipline what was the most important lesson an Operator needs to know regarding their discipline and wrote their insight into the manual.

Flow Station 3

Learned the daily routes of Operations and Maintenance, how they brought equipment on and offline, troubleshot upsets, learned permitting, isolations, LOTO’s. I learned FS3’s vessels and main equipment, piping, instrumentation, pumps, turbines, and the AL system. I participated in the LOTO of Flow 3's Artificial Lift system, and bringing Big AL back online.Shadowed the Parker Drilling team drilling FS3's new Cretaceous Disposal Well and aided the Operators bringing the new well online.Coordinated with fellow interns to visit CPS, FS2, GC2 Facility and a Well Pad.

Endicott & Northstar

I was in my initial semester of Process Tech and went to Endicott not knowing what a P&ID was, and left knowing how read, trace, and use them. I learned to locate vessels, valves, instruments, in the field off the P&ID'S.I worked with: Field, Plant and Board Ops, Enviro and SCADA Techs, the Facility Engineer, Instrument Techs, Electricians, Pipe Strippers, and Welders. I had hands on experience bringing wells online, insulating an HP Flare KO drum, sending and receiving pigs, constructing and working on scaffolding, repairing vibration dampeners, and operating skid-steers and man-lifts.

Honed interpersonal skills and ability to interact with strangers.Patience was a must as a Lyft driver, as was maintaining a positive relationship with customers.
