I've started my career as an assistant inspector of finance at Turkish Ministry of Finance. On my government career path I was appointed as a group director to the Ankara Tax Office and the advisor to the Economy Minister of Turkey. After a long-term government sector career I've joined KPMG Turkey as a Tax Director in January 2013 and promoted tax partner in 2015. I have joined to BDO Turkey as a Tax Partner in May 2022.As a Tax Partner I have been providing tax advisory, corporate tax certification services & government investment incentives (investment incentives, R&D Centers, Turquality, Free Trade Zones) and spesific government affairs advisory to international and local companies concerning Turkish tax laws, corporate taxation, government incentive legislations and spesific government affairs issues. I'm also holding Sworn Tax Advisor (sworn-in CPA) and Independent Statutory Auditor Certificates.I've been working as the Chairman of the Taxation & Investment Incentives Working Group - International Investors’ Association (YASED) since 2013. YASED is a non-profit, private sector organization whose members are  international companies operating in Turkey. Being the most important representative of the international direct investments in Turkey, YASED’s members share a common vision and work proactively to promote a better business environment.I’m also audit board member to Transparency International Turkey (Uluslararasi Seffaflik Dernegi) since July 2024.
