During my senior year at Union I pursued a passion of mine by writing for the 807 Onion column for the school newspaper, The Concordiensis. The column focused on satire writing and public interest pieces that reflected student life.Duties included:-Writing original satire pieces (~500 words) on a weekly basis to be sent for publication-Working closely with column editor to enhance content and discuss potential human interest pieces-Conducting interviews with students for articles to learn of different perspectives within the student body

•Assisting the Union College Dean of Students Office•Answering phones and directing students and parents to where they can get the help they require as well as helping with any minor queries •Preparing “Off the Stall” flyers; created informative flyers that included any noteworthy campus events that were then distributed to first-year students no-weekly •Assembling welcome packages for incoming first-year students to help them better transition into college life•Carrying out miscellaneous tasks to help the day to day office operations run smoother
