I graduated from Boğaziçi University's Civil Engineering Department in 2013. I began my career as a site engineer for Enka in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The project was called the Esentai Mall project. It was a project that had been started before but was ultimately incomplete for various reasons. I was responsible for site management and team management, ensuring activities were completed efficiently, and ensuring compliance with OHS rules. After the an expert progress payment engineer from our tesm resigned, I took over the role. I was responsible for subcontractors’ progress payments reports.I then took on the role of Project Manager at Aygün Aluminium Company. The project was the superstructure project Filigrad 2 in Moscow. I have experience in a number of areas, including site management, progress payment preparation and approval, reporting, material procurement, subcontractor management, and OHS controls.Afterwards, I took part in the Bautino and Tengiz projects with Enka-Bechtel, where I was responsible for site office coordination, precast production, technical problem resolution, reporting, and material procurement. Then, I decided to finish my projects abroad and return to Turkey. I started working at Şişecam Construction Directorate, where I have been involved in more than 300 projects. I am involved in a variety of site-oriented tasks, including tender preparation, site control from handover to final acceptance, and progress payment processes. I am also responsible for work schedule controls, budget control, and delay analyses in some projects. In summary, I am confident that I have the necessary competence in many disciplines of construction, having worked in both subcontractor, contractor, and employer roles, as well as in site and technical office disciplines.
