Design Project Manager in the DoD sector within JACOBS Buildings & Infrastructure, North America. I develop proposals for DoD projects, develop design fees, and manage the discipline leads throughout the design phase (design-bid-build) or through construction (design-build). Currently managing 2 Fire Protection renovation designs, producing design support documentation for one new MILCON aircraft simulator facility, and providing design support during construction for one deployment readiness center.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Program Manager in charge of a 20 person design team utilizing Topographic Survey and CAD technicians in designing, developing, tracking, and synchronizing efforts across organizational layers to execute a $5M contruction program that utilized troop labor, tactical engineering equipment, and contracted equipment to build/repair/renovate a variety of roads, buildings, and retaining walls for about 40 projects with a average material cost of $100K.

Project Manager/Facilities Engineer/Master Planning

2nd Military Officer in charge of a 1200 person, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) District covering 5 states and the District of Columbia with a programmatic budget near $1B for military construction, civil works, environmental restoration projects and executive oversight of USACE's only water treatment plant. Served as chief operations officer and chief of staff as well as serving in place of the commander (CEO) when needed.

I advised the 47th Iraqi Army Brigade, 12th Iraqi Army Division based out of Kirkuk, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. This included training and assisting the Brigade Commander (1 star General) and 20 senior officers via daily interaction on missions ranging from seizing weapons caches to calming tempers during the Arab Spring of 2011. I directly managed $250K of contracts for critical supplies, force protection, quality of life, and electrical safety/reliability improvements on the forward operating base without typical U.S. contractor support.

I was the senior engineer advisor to the Commanding General (2 star); developed combat and sustainment engineering plans and operations; selected as Commander's Aide-de-Camp to assist in the transition of logistics and schedules between the senior leaders in fall 2009. I simultaneously served as the Commanding General's subject matter expert on Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection matters across a large area of the South Korean peninsula. As Battalion Operations Officer, I was the Chief Operations Officer for the 1100 person unit responsible for managing operations, training, and combat readiness exercises to include deployment and redeployment of the Division's Command Posts. I also planned and developed the unit's first combat patrol live fire exercise; and, recieved and integrated the most new equipment in the unit's history.

I was the sole military leader of the 100 person Arizona/Nevada Area Office executing $400M in construction contract management. I served in place of the District Commander (CEO) when needed for civil works and military construction projects in support of the US Air Force and US Army Bases at Luke, Davis-Monthan, Nellis, Creech, Fort Huachuca, and Yuma Proving Ground. I planned and executed strategic engagements for the Commander (CEO) with Tribal, State, City, and County officials who partnered with USACE for a variety of engineering and planning services.

I was the lead Project Engineer and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on $60M worth of dredging and port construction projects in support of deep draft navigation, environmental restoration, and a 300ft turning basin at Oakland Harbor for major container ships. I developed a joint hydrographic survey system to resolve data discrepancies and sustain contractor progress on a Presidential priority project in the 2004 budget (Oakland Harbor 50ft Deepening Project).
