Jungwoo Lee is a senior researcher at Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), with over a decade of experience in energy policy and R&D strategy. He holds a Ph.D. in energy policy from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), having a deep background in mechanical engineering.He was the organizer of the national energy plans in Korea, including hydrogen, renewable, and energy efficiency, which brought together professionals from across the country to discuss R&D investment priority and how R&D decision-making can better position themselves to deal with emerging new technologies and carbon neutrality. His successful work led to him winning the prime minister's commendation for policy planning in 2021.A strong believer in the power of cooperation in the workplace, Jungwoo enjoys sharing ideas with colleagues to achieve consensus. He loves to travel around the world to scuba dive with his family and friends during his free time.
