* Advise manager and department heads with company policies and procedures as they relate to employees* Ensure compliance with benefit policies and ensure that all programs as current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements.* Reporting of requirements of all relevant government rules and regulations related to the human resources of the company. * Process union and non union payroll and benefits for an average of 200 employees* Assist with policies, recruitment procedures and programs, testing, placement, classification, benefits and compensation and labor and industrial relations. * Administer all onboarding activities, including new hire orientation* Mediate between benefits providers and employees* Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates. * Head the Safety Committee and Safety Awareness Program
