Current Responsible for driving content sourcing and monetization business for Times of India and Newspoint (news aggregator platform) Key areas - Content management and sourcing, publisher development, account management, data and analytics, improving engagement, revenue optimizationRoles & Responsibilities: To drive MAU & Revenue of News portal - TOI & Newspoint (news aggregator) via content syndication• Responsible for driving content aggregation business of Times Internet (Newspoint) – publisher development/on-boarding, contracts/agreements with all publishers, revenue model, technical integrations, tracking, content management system, provisioning and payouts• Driving traffic for the News Businesses through partnerships with OEMs (Oppo, Vivo, Samsung, Transsion, Jio STB, JioBooks) and strategic tie-ups with third-party apps and platforms (MSN, Opera, Veera etc.) resulting in XX mn MAU • Scaling publishers supply on Newspoint platform and increase the publishers base as per editorial, OEM’s and browser requirement• Publisher on-boarding and account management of 300+ publishers (Global and India)• Responsible for content syndication and monetization for News business (Newspoint) in 14 +languages • Responsible for content optimization plan i.e. data analysis of language-wise traffic, category-wise traffic, format-wise traffic etc.• Building new content categories – identifying and negotiating with partners across different categories - Astro, Devotion, Gaming etc.• Data and analytics - users, PVs, time spent, ARPU, bounce rate, revenue etc• Product-level partnerships – API integrations, Feed integrations, GA tracking, Creation of dashboards etc• Driving business in sync with product, analytics, tech and design team • Ad-code analysis and optimization for generating revenue from the traffic (both direct and network ads)• Responsible for provisioning, pay-outs and maintain/improve the net margin, thus responsible for revenue optimization and P&L
