Involving in the direction, supervision as well as maintenance of Abu Dhabi Municipality Irrigation pumping stations. Responsible for providing engineering support for pumping station activities to ensure that equipment is maintained and refurbished correctly. Supervises and monitors the contractor manpower and equipment mobilization and deployment for the operation, maintenance & repair works of pumping stations Implements preventive maintenance programs Receives breakdown complaints, defect reports, scrutinizes and issues from the consultant Preparation of various reports concerning to mechanical section i.e. equipment defect evaluation report, method statements, etc Inspects the site to check the quality and performance of work carried out and certifies spare parts and materials consumption Inspects spare parts and materials from the suppliers to ensure compliance with the specifications Provides work direction to Technicians. Supervises the execution of additional/modification and remedial works and minor projects carried out through Work Service Order Inspects mechanical installations/equipment and prepare technical reports. Coordinate and monitor the testing, installation, and commissioning of mechanical equipment. Coordinate and monitor the preparation and submission of mechanical equipment Drawings, whenever required. Ensure that all moving parts of assets are inspected/ checked & any irregularities are reported. Define equipment requirements in conjunction with Maintenance planner Ensure adequate protection of equipment at all times. Ensure Health & Safety is adequately observed. Attend relevant meetings. Ensure that the routine maintenance of all mechanical equipment is carried out as per contract requirements.
